Part E:
The people in JLP made an effort to inform the users of the park to keep the water clean. Here's a signboard, reminding the users of the park not to litter or not to fish in certain areas. Even though they have the sign to remind people not to litter, we still see litter on the ground . But, the authorities have done a good job to keep people from littering. Without this sign, Jurong Lake Park will definitely be a real messy park with litters.

Part C: When we went to Jurong Lake Park, we did not manage to see many animals. However when we ran there for our 2.4km run, we found many animals such as squirrels, fishes.... We did not notice the variety of plants when we ran but when we slowed down for a closer look, we realised that there were not many types of plants left in Jurong Lake Park.We learn that we need to slow down and not hurry while being in nature. It would not stay with us forever.Nature has many wonders,we should appreciated them when they are here.

Part A :Jurong lake is a fresh water lake and also a reservoir, located in western region of Singapore. The lake serves as a reservoir contributing to the water supply of the country. It lies next to the Lakeside MRT Station. which derived its name from this geographical feature. The lake is surrounded by parkland, which serves as a recreational ground for nearby residents in Jurong East and Jurong West New Town

Part A Reflections :
Abigail
The trip to the Jurong lake park was very fun and enriching. I managed to see so many varieties of plants and animals , I managed to enjoy nature for once in my life. However, I did not manage to see many animals such as squirrels. The last time I went there for the 2.4km run, I spotted many squirrels. However when I went for the biology trip to the park, I did not see any. Also, I noticed people fishing at the jetty. I think that even though people are allowed to fish there, they should not overfish as the fishes in the lake are source of food for some animals living in the park. Overall, the trip to Jurong Lake Park was enjoyable and I would like to go there for more science trips again.

Fina-
I find that the trip to JurongLakePark was very exciting and fun. We did not managed to find many animals and plants but at least we found organisms and flowers such as eggs of the apple snail, ixora and empty snail shells. It was my first time going to the JurongLakePark to do research for science. I had an enjoyable time.I managed to enjoy with the nature for the first time in my life. The thing i enjoyed most was taking pictures of the amazing plants; I even found a broken coconut with thousands over ants crawling out of it, leading to an anthill. This trip is one of the best nature trips I have ever been too.
Singuan-
Although I did not go for the Jurong Lake Park trip, I managed to get some information about the things in Jurong Lake Park from my group mates. There were construction work in the park, increasing the sound pollution. My group mates told me  that the construction work also resulted in trees being cut down to clear space for new things to be build. I feel that the authorities should leave Jurong Lake Park alone, instead of cutting down the trees.Next, my groupmate also showed me pictures of litters in the park. Upon seeing one of the pictures, I felt very angry. The picture showed a 'Bandung' can stuck in the middle of a plant. I remember seeing recycling bins in Jurong Lake Park and the irresponsible person who threw the can should have recycled it. Lastly, they showed me the pictures of the animals, flora and fauna of the park. I was fascinated with the pictures especially the eggs of the apple snail, they amazed me as I never thought that nature could be so beautiful. I really hope that I can have another chance to go for a nature trip again.
Sharelin-
It is indeed an eye opening experience to the Jurong lake.I have seen many species of animals that i had not seen before in my life.Examples are the apple snail eggs.It is pink in colour and it is mostly found on rocks. At first i did not know what was that.Until then,my teacher briefly told us that was an apple snail egg. Then,we moved on to the further side of the lake.On the way,we saw alot of litters on the ground. It is a impact to the environment. The park users are really irresponsible .They came to Jurong lake to look at the beautiful scenery but end up littering on the ground. There is enough rubbish bins in Jurong lake,in fact ,along the roads there are more than enough rubbish bin. They just could not take their initiative to throw their rubbish inside.I think that we should not litter on the ground,we,should take the initiative to throw away rubbish after use to save our earth.

This picture shows a moulting bee. This is the first time we saw the moulting bee with our own eyes.It is on the trunks on the tree.It does not moved at all even if we disturb it.This shows that when bee is moulting,i would not move.
#2
This pictures shows a snail.Snails are quite plentiful in the world so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn they are found in very diverse habitats. In this picture,we can see that it is lived in the park,it is not so easy to find them as it covers itself well.

#4
This picture shows dead leaves. It have many holes, therefore we can say that it is eaten by caterpillars.
#5
This picture shows tree that had been cut down and this is the remains of the tree trunk. We can conclude that cutting down of trees occurs.

#7
This picture shows a tiger beer bottle. It is thrown on the grass. It is considered a litter and it may harm the environment .It is probably workers working at the construction site left it here after drinking .I think that it is very inconsiderate of them as the rubbish bin is just near by .They should just walk a few steps and throw it into the bin than littering it here.

This pictures shows a lemon bottle thrown just nearby the lake. This is very dangerous for the marine lifes as they may thought that it is a source of food and may eat it,thus die from eating the plastic bottle.
#11
This picture shows a flower. The scientific name of this flower is called Ixora.Ixora is a genus of flowering plants in Rubiaceae family.

This picture shows construction works.

The first two pictures are pictures of a plastic bottle and can being littered on the ground. Instead of littering, the users of the park can help recycle the litter in the recycling bins that are located in Jurong Lake Park. By recycling, we can help to reduce pollution and also maintain the park's cleanliness and tardiness. The third picture shows a plastic bag floating on the surface of the lake. If the aquatic animals eat the plastic, they may be poisoned or trapped inside the plastic bag which may eventually lead to their species death and extinction.
